I just tested my new batch of peat treated water. WOW, Ph 4.83. It's not going to take much of this batch mixed with the RO to bring the Ph down.

Anyway, I took the panduro fry away at 6 weeks and decided it was time to try for another batch. Actually they were dropping me some hints, you know, the dance. So I'm going to start dropping the Ph for them again.

How slowly should I take them down to Ph6 from Ph7.2?

How low can good peat take take the Ph?

If you are using peat from a garden store type place, most bags have the pH somewhere on the bag. The bag I just finished up said it was 4.0 I never got it that low, but it did get down into the low 5's rather easily.
