Help with identification.
I was at my LFS today and they had a apisto species called Apisto. MacMacteri I believe. Its body is a soft yellow-brown color, with a broken line going through the middle that is dark brown possibly black. Another line extends down from the eye. There were some dark spots along its dorsel fin. Some of the others int he tank also had slight striations below the center line. It's an active fish, small and from what I observed some what fiesty. Not that that suprised me since it was supposed to be a cichlid. The question I have is when I got home from the LFS I looked it up on the LFS's web page and they had a very similar looking cichlid under the name A. Norbeti. Could this be either one or the other? Or something else entirely. Sorry about the lack of a photo. I'll get one here if needed.
