Hi, my name is Mary and an setting up my first South American Cichlid tank. I'm most likely getting a varriety of apistos from a local fish store as they regualarly stock them and they're personalities seem great. According to owner they primarily get females in from the breeders they order from so I'm hoping that will be a good combination; other wise I may get a male and two females. So excited to get into these beautiful fish and do my first planted tank! currently it is set up with plants and cycling; first fish should be put in in a few days ( putting dither fish in first and saving the apistos until tank is a little more established.
