Hi All.
Just stumbled across this forum in the search for more info on Apistogramma species and their care. I'm hoping to learn a lot on here with respects to keeping the species in a biotope aquarium. I've kept Cichlids in the past, but not specifically Apistogramma. I'm looking forward to reading all your diffent views on the subject and how you all keep yours.
What are your thoughts on a good starting point?

Read all of Mike Wise's posts, but I would actually start by looking at ApistoBob's web site <http://www.dwarfcichlid.com/index.php>, Bob is a member of the forum, and his site is full of good advice.

Do you know what your water is like? I'm N. of Salisbury Plain and use rain-water as our tap supply is very hard.
