Hello, My name is Don Petty. I own and operate a small Freshwater Tropical Fish store In Kennewick, Washington. My reason for joining is NOT to show case or peddle my shop! My shop is set up as a niche for smaller not aggressive fishes, I would like to offer a large selection of Apistogramma. So, I wish to learn to properly identify and care for the fish I offer as well as give correct advice.
I would also like to know if it's ok to upload some pictures from a transhipped order I received that was labeled "Wild Caught Apisto- mix". Some of the fish I am unable to identify. Would you folks be willing to help me identify the fish? The pictures will be from my iPhone so they wont be professional by any means. Can you direct me to the correct section to upload them?

I can't imagine anyone would deny you the right to learn about apistos, post the pictures I'm sure folks more experienced than me can identify them. I can go my markings of some adults but juveniles all look the same to me.

As far as posting pictures I use a website like photobucket.com, flickr.com and there's a few other popular ones.
