Heiko Bleher - RIP

Hi all,
I had some really sad news today, Heiko has died. I don't know any details, but he will have been a friend of some of our members, a contributor to this forum and his passing leaves us (and the wider fish-keeping community) a poorer place.

As well as his contribution to the hobby he was a passionate critic of Amazon deforestation and reported on the effects of drought due to climate change etc.

Oh man... may he rest in peace. I only met him once, when I was a kid (like 14 years or so).

Yeah well, we don't need any details, he was 80 years old.

Yes, sad (he still has a couple of my slide trays he borrowed back in the '80s). That is the second hobbyist/scientist that we lost this year. Dr. Paul V. Loiselle passed earlier this year.
