Has anyone kept Poecilocharax weitzmani and if so any comments on them - also do they hang high or low and show a lot of movement or mostly idle ?

[ok 5 minute of reading and they love the bottom and guard their frys so they can eat them when they start swimming]. Still any comment from people who actually kept them ?

I've never had them. But one thing that struck me when i saw them in wild footage on youtube some time ago is that compared to all other fish in the video they didn't move at all.

I had the fortune to care for a tank with that species for a month, but that was just while the owner was on a business trip. Not much to report: They were mostly hiding and what I saw in terms of behaviour seemed a lot like a tetra adopting the lifestyle of a dwarf cichlid, but still distinct. E.g. the males displaying looked like a mix of both: The colour changed as much as in dwarf cichlids, but the movements looked a lot like phantom tetras displaying.

Hello Martin, though I am not sure if I am adressing the right person, I still hope I am. I got 2 trios of Apistogramma psammophila from you some time ago. I was lucky to breed them, too, but, unfortunately, I got mainly males, 15, and only 2 females. That's why today, I have only three males left.
Kind regards, Michael (Hagen-Hohenlimburg)
He recalled that General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm had praised these achievements, noting that institutions are no longer the main bottleneck to development, with challenges now lying in implementation.
Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.
