Hair Algae, Ugh!

BNs will NOT eat hair algae though. The only thing that I found that eats hair algea is SAEs (real ones not the false one, The lateral strip MUST go all the way through the caudle fin) btw I have never tried shrimp, my cichlids think they are a snack.

The reason I said to check PO4, was that in my experience high PO4 always leads to hair algea or BBA. I agree that PO4 does not cause algea, but a large amount (>2ppm) of PO4 always results in red algea in my tanks.
