Hello everyone,

Beginner cichlid keeper here in the Sonoran desert. I've kept tropical fish as a kid, and recently dived back into the hobby a couple of years ago.

I just picked up a pair of Apistos last weekend, and thought I'd sign up here as it seems to be a valuable source of information. I look forward to taking part in the community!

Welcome, Gaumblet. Nice to have you aboard. Speaking from my own experience, when you have fish/tanks as a kid you eventually end up coming back to the hobby as an adult. Must be genetic or something.
