Got a new dwarf cichlid!! need help identifying

the guys over at cichlid forums seem to think its a Borelli or steel blue

it looks like a female borelli, but it has a spot on its tail?

I agree with Randall, the photo are not good enough to ID the fish. Do your fish show the 90º downward break of the lateral band in front of the caudal spot? This is diagnostic of caetei-complex species. The first 2 photos look A. sp. Wangenflecken/Cheek-spots, but the bottom photo looks like a Steel Blue Apisto.

BTW, I really like your standard color/finnage Black-skirt Tetras. They're my favorite tetra & are hard to find that look like fish from the wild.
