German breeders

Hi everyone! I'm quite new to the forum, reading it for about a month, but no posting. Now I would like to ask a question.
In different places at this forum and on apisto internet sites I read about fish that you getting from german breeders. Since I live in Sweden, that is close to Germany, I would like to try to order some fish, that I can not find in my LFS, directly from german breeders. I tried to search information about them in the net and failed completely. Could someone recommend me a good german apisto breeder to contact with, please? I would be grateful for the information of all kind concerning european apisto breeders. Thank you!

Welcome to our forum!

One of the big German distributors is Mimbon Aquarium. They don't sell directly to the public but may furnish a list of Swedish retailers that carry their stock.

Most of the "German breeders" mentioned are not hobbyists, but commercial breeders/exporters who only sell to shops or other suppliers. To contact actual hobby breeders I suggest that you contact members of the Deutsche Cichliden Gesellschaft or get a copy of DCG-Informationen (the magazine of the DCG). It lists hobbyists selling fish in its "Green Pages".

Thank you very much for the help. I hope I could find somebody to get fish from. Here in the far north of Sweden it is a great problem to find a fish you are interested in
