Flashing Viejita

I have a tank with about 20 neon Teras, and a pair of (wild caught) A.Viejita.

My female Viejita is flashing on gravel and rock but the male isn't, nor are the tetras.
He's been giving her a bad time -- chasing etc, so I was wondering if the flashing was stress related or flukes.
I don't see any ick.
I've done a big water change, added a lot of Cycle but every now and then she flashes again.
Any insight into this would be appreciated.

The male started to flash too so I removed snails and put salt in the water.

Male and 2 pics of the female. The white dots seem to be colouration not ice to me.
