Female Dicrossus Maculatus Have a New Batch While Her Former Fry Are Too Young to Be Independent

This is my Dicrossus Maculatus. Today, I observed that the mother fish has a new batch of eggs while her former fry are too young to be independent. I wonder whether she will raise the different batches together or eat one of them.

So far, mother fish is still protecting her older fry.
