Hello, I've recently just bought two female german blue rams, and have them in my quarantine tank at the moment. The two of them kind of nudge each other, but they haven't gotten in any huge battles yet. Are females known to kill each other?
No, not Rams. In the wild, the Orinoco Rams tend to stay in groups/schools of the same size fish until they form pairs and establish a breeding territory.
Thank you for the info! What a relief, I was planning on having two males and four females together, and they are all about the same size. My pairs never stay together long for some reason.
