Female Apistogramma sp.Tefe

Hi everyone
I had just recently acquire a pair of apistogramma sp. tefe. I'm not sure on how to diffrentiate the female of agassizi and tefe. So how do you tell the diffrence of the two. The female that was sent along with the male has the wavy vvvvvvvvv marking on the sides(I suspect a young male or sneaker male). Are female tefe suppose to have these markings or not?

Female A. sp. Tefé look exactly like female A. agassizii to me. Both specimens pictured are males.
