Hey all,

Just wondering what is the best to feed adult Apistogramma Cacatuiodes.

I will be breeding them in a 2 foot.

Cheers

Live foods: adult/baby brine shrimp, aquatic crustaceans (daphnia, cyclops, etc.), and aquatic insect larvae (bloodworms, mosquito larvae, etc.). Otherwise use frozen foods. Apistos do not eagerly eat dry foods.

Life foods are best to get the most out of your apistos. I found that all mine take quite well to dry foods and they get good quality dry food as a staple and life food a few times a week.
