He looks a nice fish. How does he get on with your Corydoras? Here is the latest video of my Sunset male
He is territorial. So far all getting along well and always chase away the Corydoras/females when feeding.Hi all,
He looks a nice fish. How does he get on with your Corydoras?
cheers Darrel
Yup, I heard they show better coloration with fine grain sand. Still tinkering if I should setup another tank for them as I dont want to disturb them in current tank as they do well.beautiful fish. i'd recommend to get some fine grain sand and if you plan to breed these beauties, you should probally rehome the corys.

It’s not because of their coloration, but how they forage for food. They are sand sifters, like geophagus.Yup, I heard they show better coloration with fine grain sand. Still tinkering if I should setup another tank for them as I dont want to disturb them in current tank as they do well.
Noted. Do i need to drop the ph to 5.0 to trigger them for breeding? It’s not because of their coloration, but how they forage for food. They are sand sifters, like geophagus.

Trigger them to breed, probably not. Most Apistogramma will try and breed when they are happy…will you need to drop the pH to successfully breed them, most likely.Noted. Do i need to drop the ph to 5.0 to trigger them for breeding?
