bentitochromis conjunctus in UK

I found and purchased a female of the above at a local fish shop today, it was mixed in with wild caught P.pulcher.The shop staff thought it was possibly C.guntheri ! I am hoping somebody may be able to help me find a male to go with her.

Nice catch. Pics? :tongue: Which shop? Last I knew, Trimar had some, labelled as Benitochromis sp. Muyuka, I think.

Shop was BAS in Bolton. Trimar aren't showing it on current stock list so I'll give them a ring tomorrow.If they haven't got them I'll have some P.roloffi off them anyway as I haven't bred them for about 10yrs and along with suboccellus they are my favorite of the W.Africans

You're right. Seems to be off their list recently. I can vouch for their subocellatus. The males are :tongue: Used to have 2, but one had come down with belly-crawling after a spawning attempt some 2 months or more back and has sinced passed on.
