Benitochromis sp. Eseka spawned

I just noticed a bunch of Benitochromis sp. Eseka wigglers in one of my 40G breeders. I guess it's about 20-30 babies. (Thanks, Steve, for providing me with with the parents.) These are really neat-looking fish.

Cool fish. My largest male seems to be more interested in a female krib than his own species :?

Rahul: I'll try to get some decent pics and post them here within the next few days. The fry is still tiny, though, which makes it tough to get a good shot.

Thanks for the link. These guys have posted some truly great pics. Makes appetite for more! By the way: I'm always more than happy to give away some of the Eseka at low cost/no cost or trade them for something else (asuming some of my fry will manage to grow up). Just want to make sure the species remains in the hobby.

Yes it's the right behavior to have so that all the wonderful strains that are imported can be saved and shared . I intend to put some B. conjunctus in my next tank, and it wouldn't be possible if the guy who has them didn't offer them at low price...

It would be great if you could put some photos of your esekas .
