Hello!
Just brought a "pair" of these beauty's, but I'm a bit unsure whether I actually have a pair.
Definitley got a juvenile male, small, blueish grey, long finnage.
But the "female" is almost the same size and yellow!

I've always been informed that the females of this sp. was always grey/silver?

Also, the black bar from eye to dorsal has a black spot in the middle of it, almost like an Agazizzii(sp.) female.

Have I been given a different species of female? Or another male before adult colouration?

Both have third bar on stomach.

Thanks.

You probably have a pair of A. trifasciata but a photo would be helpful.
I have had extremely small females spawn and they always turned yellow.
