Apistogramma ortegai or cf. ortegai.

I purchased this pair as Apistogramma ortegai Papagei, but now that they've matured I suspect that they're not. The male looks nothing like my avatar, which most definitely IS the Papagei form.

I agree that they are not A. ortegai. Since they don't show the typical extended or double caudal blotches, they might be one of the "with separate caudal spot" forms, if so likely A. cf. ortegai (Pebas, with separate caudal spot).
