Apistogramma iridae

Quick question for those a little more in the know on sp.
I bought a trio of what was id. as A. uaupesi, they came in labelled A. seterai (which I believe was a joke on the word etcetera) but look like A. iridae
They were the only three in the store, came in with a bunch of wild cacatoides...
How does one go about finding out what they really are?
Also, if they came in with assorted other wild caught, can I assume that they are not siblings or is it more likely that they are siblings? I only ask as I cannot see me ever finding more than the three I have- two males, one female... I am wondering if I should just enjoy and keep in the community tank or strive towards breeding an unidentified trio.
What would you do?

When mature, males of uapesi will have a lyre tail. Most of the other fish (like iniridae) in the pertensis group have an round or oval caudal fin. Both fish are beautiful and you should enjoy them. If you intend to breed, remember that these fish are from an environment that has extremely soft, acidic water. To successfully reproduce, they will need a close parellel to those conditions. good luck,
