Heres another new spawn in the fishroom, this time a male red tailed domestic Agassizi with a F2 female, the wild pair were originally mine and i bred them and passed around F1 fish, a fellow dwarf cichlid fan managed to breed the F1 and i got back a batch of females for future breeding purposes. They are stunners.. I only have one male so he is rotated between four different females, this is working really well and i currently have several hundred baby aggies..Heres todays spawn..

Excellent fish and great photos. I have some from from A. agassizii that I collected near Leticia, Colombia right now. The female never lost her lateral band (same with my aggies from the Madeira). I sometimes wonder if this is a characteristic of different forms/species in the agassizii superspecies.

Agazzi Spawning prob Advice need

Dear Friends

I need some help , i breed Apisto agazzi in Uk and now im in Pakistan and trying to breed the same apisto in 24 gallon tank with 1 male and 2 female with a 1 inch subrate , drift wood sponge filt 4 flower pot and pvc pipe once side buried on the sand and its now over a month they have not breed and nor lay the eggs i need you expert adivce to help me out in this cichlids breeding ,.
