Hello, i have a 40gal long tank that I'm going to get a pair of apistos for. Not surebwhich subspecies as I'm still setting up the tank. But aside from heavily planted, as a certer piece would they prefer a cluster of rocks for caves and such or a cluster of driftwood? Thanks

Hello.

Moss-wrapped coconut shells and hollows can be created from the Mangrow roots. Kakadu loves this kind of place to lay eggs.

Good luck with...

Apisto's prefer wood over rocks. The wood will also soften your water a bit which they like, as were most rocks harden your water. The wood will also give a little bit of tannings which your Apisto's will like. So i would go for a cluster of driftwood.
