Btw, the fish in the second last pic is not apisto, it is Dario dario (Badis Scarlet).

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

The red face on borellii can be seen in both the Yellow and Opal forms. How much is there is dependant on the quality of the individual fish.

the last pic with the heavy red lighting, (or editing) is a little less than honest. i want to see fish looking more like the way they actually look without the 'stage show'. i find this is a problem with a lot of sites and even pics in books. it doesn't help for people who want to know what a fish is supposed to look like. i like jeff rapp's pics, they are sometimes not the best, but they are honest representations of the fish, sometimes even dirty glass and all.

I've never seen a fish like those panduro before. White panduro w/ some much orange/red in the tail.

I really like Jeff's photos. I want some Gymnogeophagus Labiatus or Gymno. Meridonalis from him so bad. I can't wait until he gets some in.
