Apisto. Cacatuoides fry

does anyone have pictures of fry at 2 to 3 weeks old. cause i think i got some zebra danio fry......:frown: . i cant find any pictures of fry at that age if anyone can post some ill really appreciate it.

Congrats on the fry...even if they aren't apistos If your apisto have eggs, you will see Mom or Dad with the fry, unless you pull the eggs.

what happend was that 2 week ago there were eggs stuck to the side of the clay pot and the female was inside all the time so i assumed they were hers, so i took all the other fish out execpt the male and female then 2 days later the male ate 2 new fry so i took him out then another day later i saw teh female out and she ate 3 so i took her out too and i left the fry alone in their 10 gallon and now 2 weeks later i see they they look like zebra danios..... they have the strippes like them and they are really fast

Better that you took the pair out. They may get used to eating fry and not raise their own.

If your fry are swimming in the middle of the aquarium, then they are most likely Zebra Danios. Apisto fry without parents rarely swim very far above the bottom.
