I picked up a trio of ortmanni today at my LFS and can't seem to find any information on them....at least not in english. Anyone know anything about them?
kretz11,
I have to agree with Scooter. Mike W. knows his subject matter.
Generally, ortmanni is a fairly undemanding species that is difficult to sex and identify. Once you know you have them, you can probably breed them by allowing them to pair off on their own (group of 6 rule probably will work well here). They are in the regani group (large group) and husbandry information about others in this group will work for them.
Good luck with them and gets some pics if you can.
