A wild caught A. elizabethae with a distinct big caudal spot!!
It looks so interesting to me that i am trying my best to breed it...
is there any sharing on this kind of eliza?
Interesting fish. I doubt that it is a true caudal spot, but more of an intensification of the lateral band on the caudal peduncle. Still it is unusual.

Mike, you are right that when the lateral band is sharp, this spot is just a part of it. While depending on its mood, when the lateral band is less visible, this spot appears to be very sharp. i have never observed this spot from all the other eliza that i have kept before... it is amazing to find this specimen
