A. atahualpa male or female

Hi all!

Sadly my first male died in summer, so when i saw new imports i hurried up and bought a new one, to keep the females company.
This new one is around 3,5 cm long and doesn't show the dorsal spikes. So i'm actually a bit uncertain whether or not it is a male. Could be that it is just to small to start showing the characteristics.
The more i look at it i think it is a female, but i very much like your help to sex it.
I tried looking for juvenile atahualpas both here and on the rest of the www. -No real luck.
I hope the pictures are good enough quality.

I am afraid that for me the photos are not. At 3.5 cm/1½" it is probably too young to make a positive sex determination ... maybe in a month or 2 you should know.

Thanks Mike! For taking the time to look. I’ll give some more time. Then i just hope that if it is a female, there is another male to buy..
Next time, i will try to make better pictures.
