A. agassizi spawning coloration

I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the coloration of a spawning pair of A agassizi. I have a pair and their color has become bolder so I'm just wondering if they are "in the mood".

You can key more on the female. She will go from a mostly brown coloration to a bright gold with heavy black markings. There are several color strains, so it would be hard to tell you about the male without seeing a before and after picture. If the female is gold or yellow the she is ready. That is probably the easiest thing to look for.
