Here are two of my aquariums - feel free to tell me they are not done correctly:

This aquarium has 2 male a. sp ladislo and 4 or 5 females. the dithers are kubotai rasbora and a few very young swordtails which i hope to remove soon. There are two dominant females one on the right and one on the left. One of the males is subdomiant. The only real conflict i've seen is between the two females but i put food on both sides and they pretty much stay to their respective side. One of the females bred on the left back edge on the underside of a piece of drift wood a couple of weeks ago but they were clearly not fertilize. Not sure if the water was too hard (~40 ec) or if the male was inexperienced - he also seemed a little distracted and i'm not sure he really bonded with either female (as nijjensi complex fish i i'm not sure if he would opportunisitically breed with more than one female).

My guess is i have around 30 to 50 frys in there with many over an inch long. Unlike the a. wolli these guys seem really passive towards the near adult frys. At 1/2 inch the wolli were already quite aggressive to the frys. I see virtually no chasing from either the male or female. Having said that the tank is over crowded at this point. In approx 30 days i'll be upgrading it to a 65 (16x48) at which time i'll get most of the frys out. The ec in this aquarium is around 22.
