    My 20long Moliwe tank

Just a quick update with a couple of pics. The fry in my 20 are free swimming and both parents are doing a good job of protecting them. I do have free swimming fry in my 15 now too. The female is guarding them in this tank, even keeping the male away. The 3 that I have growing out in the 10 are...

    My 20long Moliwe tank

A quick update. I separated the pairs at the beginning of the month. I kept the dom. pair in the 20 and put the other pair in a 15 that also has a L. dorsigera and 10 habrosus cories( I love those little wigglebutts). I was about to put a mirror in the 20 since I had not seen any breeding...

    P. Taeniatus males challenging each other

That is a great video Joe! Your taenies have some great colors on them. If you get back to OTR and end up in NE WI, you will have to look me up. I live in Appleton about 20 miles from G.B. Might be able to tour Lambeau?!?

german blue rams or kribs with black sand as substrate?

I have a 20 long that I have a mix of black gravel and black tms. I like how the dark substrate really makes the colors pop more so than the lighter substrates. Don't quote me on this, but I imagine that with wc fish it is more natural for them and would help to relax them and to aid in inducing...

    Help: Camallanus Worms?

I just this saw this thread, Joe. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your fish that the Levamisole works and that the rest of your taenies recover.

    Pelvicachromis gallery

Just went over your gallery, wow! It was probably the last thing that I should have done. Now I am glad that I watched all 4 of your installments on building a fishroom! I think I will need it with the other Pelvicachromis' that I now want. As if there weren't enough dwarfs I would to start...

    P. taeniatus Moliwe video

Great video and a very informative article, Ted! I was thinking of selling my other pair of F1 Moliwe, but now you have me thinking. My problem was not with the males, They would meet in the middle of my tank occasionally where I have driftwood to provide a break in the line of sight, but it was...

    P. taeniatus "Moliwe" in a harem??!?!?

Right now I am so confused to say the least. I have two pair in a 20 long planted tank. I have had 5 spawns to date and these are still small taenies with the males being maybe 2" and the females being under 1 1/2". ~1st spawn was with dom. male and fm(female)1. The fry made it to the free...

    My 20long Moliwe tank

Heres a couple of pictures of the parents and fry. mama "Wilma" and some fry One of papa "Fred" I decided to get the fry out of the tank and into a breeder net until I get a tank set up to get them into. I was able to get 6 fry. Already the females are having a "shimmy" war and the...

    My 20long Moliwe tank

I got some F1 "Moliwe" off Aquabid back in Sept. from a seller in Seattle. Since then, I have had 2 pair in a heavily planted 20 long. Two months ago I had the dom. male breed with the now sub. female. The fry made it a week before they disappeared. I wasn't too surprised since they were still...

Very impressed Joe! You gotta post pic's when you do stain it. Never did alot of woodwork, Metal/machining is my thing. They both take alot of skill and knowledge though. Hats off to you on a job well done.

Well..... PACK v. bears for the SB. Gonna be a good game. Bears looked good but I don't think they can beat GB the way they played:)
