My male fish seems to have a problem with his mouth. These fish ave the ability to open their mouth extra far, by unfolding it somehow. Now the upperlip of the male is stuck in that position. It doesn't seems to upset him very much, but it looks awfully uncomfortable. anything i can do?
After a couple of failed attempts it looks like this time I am going to have a succesful breeding attempt. The other attempts failed because they were in a community tank, where all the fry were eaten, or in a "fresh tank", which hasn't ripened to create the one-celled creatures that are food...
I'm david, and I come from the Netherlands. I've been keeping aquaria for over a year now. I currently have 2 tanks. a 180L community/planted tank, and a 54L "project"-tank. The project tank is now being transformed in a glosso-tank, in the japanese style.
My favorite fish is the cacatuoides...
