    Help: Camallanus Worms?

Yeah me too. but I still have somehow managed to get them few times. Its been my experience that certain fish seem more susceptible to this type of parasite. seems to me that fish that have been strained out are more likely to have issues or highly farmed fish. Again this is my observation only...

    Help: Camallanus Worms?

Joe you might want to treat with metro or other antibiotic too. If those worms die and get stuck in digestive tract then the fish might get an infection.

    Help: Camallanus Worms?

sorry to say but most of the time they don't bounce back once they are that noticeably sick. I'm pretty I get them from california black worms. I treat all tanks now every few months just to be sure(that get black worms). But thats kind of the price you pay to get some fish into condition to...

    Help: Camallanus Worms?

Joe, if you can't get some within a few days I'll mail you a few table spoons which is enough for a first dose and maybe the second one depending on how big your tank is.

    Help: Camallanus Worms?

http://www.igopro-online.com/Vermisol-100-Grams-p/vermis100.htm This worked(s) very well for me but can cause some algae bc its not pure. The pure stuff is pretty expensive and harder to get. I actually have some keyholes that have these worms again(assuming they came from black worms)and are...

    Water, PH, and hardness?

I took off my DI cartridge. I think that it maybe be spent and leeching minerals back into the water. The unit is a 50gpd so it might have to much pressure behind it. Unfortunately the unit doesn't have a pressure gauge. Thanks for the tip. I'm just shocked by how high the TDS is with a newer...

    Water, PH, and hardness?

    Floramax and Sand

If you use sand only make sure its not to deep or you can get dead spots. you might even do a layer of flora base and then cap it in sand. i redid my 90 gallon and did a layer of soil and then capped it with sand. here is how it looks at around 6 weeks of growth.
