Hi Guys..I bought 4 A. sp. alto Tapiche from wetspot and they all turned out to be males. Anyone have females for sale?
These are the only pictures I have..
They are cave spawners..just like Apistos. They love any type of tubes to hide in..use gray pvc tubes.. If you can get them..I use charcoal bamboo tubes... males will set-up house and that's where they will spawn! Once you see the male tending eggs you can either let nature take it's course or...
I love them..so far I've spawned Dario Dario, Dario sp. 'Myanmar', and Dario hysginon. Just Like Bart.. 2 months ago I picked up 6 Badis sp."buxar. Doing great in a heavily planted 10 gl tank. No fry yet! Once I finish moving my fishroom I'll post some pictures.
Thanks All...Hey guys..make sure you get females..my 6 turned out to be ALL males. :( MickeM..since you live in Europe..you have better luck than us (in the USA) getting these beautiful fish. Very hard to get..nobody is importing them..the same with the D. Warzeli..
I just bought 6 D. Fiorni and they are old enough to breed but I don't see any females yet...some of them are smaller but haven't noticed anyone showing red anal fin. Anyway... was wondering if you ever got your group to spawn?
