Im going on holidays in a week and a half and wont be back till mid May so im wondering if they'll last in there for that long. hopefully so, if not i guess i'll just have to salvage what i can. they should be ok, there are no other fish in the tanks so that should help.

I have 2 breeding tanks (2footers) which have both got new fry in them. I'm wondering how long i can leave the male in there for? I know the female is good for a month or so but i'm not so sure about the male. Last time the female killed the male so i didnt have this problem but...
If thats courting, then im glad im not a fish ha ha. i dont think she has any eggs in her atm so maybe thats the problem?? they used to get along really well when they were the same size but now he's bigger things have changed. i'll keep an eye on them and see how they go.

what does it it mean if my male cockatoo is nipping and tale wipping the female continuously. does he not like her or something? i have fed them live worms to try to entice breeding but it doesnt seem to be working? did the worms turn him nuts?? any ideas?
