I read at the planted tank forum that the apisto's attach other fish. They are okay with the cory's. What about glo-lights tetra in a 29 gallon planted tank?
I had put 6 glo-light tetra in a 10 gallon planted with 3 apistos'(1male), and they stayed in 1 spot. Thus now the apistos are in 10...
I got a orange flash Apisto Sunday July 11. Her bright yellow color is diminishing. No doubt it is due to the water. It has ph of 8.2 and very low Gh and Kh, which is due to city treating the water with phosphates.
Has anyone had this problem?

Why? Anyone else have this problem?
I have soft water with ph of 8.4 from tank. It is 7.4 in the tank. How can adjust water or acclimate Apistos for these parameters?
I don't have them yet. I am planning on trading for some next month.
My tap water is on the alkaline side, 8.2, gh 1 and Kh is 4. Read that occurs when phosphates are used to treat the water.
Has anybody kept appistos in water similar to this?
I am in the midst of planning my community tank for the introduction of Apistogramma cacatuoides. I hope they will breed some. At present have platys, black mollies and albino cory's.
What, other fish have you had reside with Apistogramma cacatuoides without problems in a community tank?
I have a 29 gallon planted tank. I have 4 Tiger barbs. Thinking of adding a pair of Apistogramma cacatuoides to the tank in June.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Has anyone done this?
