    I have "blue" which males have yellow head and blue body. Have seen Paraguay listed which I believe are similar. "Opal" have the red markings on the cheek.

    Gratz Rene. What a great natural shot. Yes thats my old Nicaraguensis pair. Lost the male and still have the female. I gave away tons of their babies to the club. I think everyone there has or had some LOL. Great fish.

    Stripped down the tank tonight and Trifas is missing. Not really sure what happened. Tank is sealed well and its not like Apistos are jumpers. :(

    Getting nice blues. Mine has orange in top of dorsal and yellow head. Have not seen it in two days and am getting worried :(

    I have a pair in a 10g. Male has great finnage but lacks color. Think its poor stock, inmaturatly, or just the sand color?

    I have two Angels in my 36" 46g with Apistos. They get along fine. I also have a dozen black Neons. As Mike said, the angels and tetras eat aggressively and I have to overfeed so food still gets down to the Apistos. But some of the Apistos have learned to come up and compete.

    I have a large male and a small male in a 20g with two females that are yellowed up. They show interest but just wont spawn.

    I thought Agassizi had a more spear shaped tail, like my flame red male. I had a small pair of Agissizi orange from Dave but the male got stuck in a filter and died. This must be the female?? from that pair then. Thanks again. So much to learn.
