I have a lot of fish I would love to have back including Crenicichla regani, Crenicichla reticulata (one of my fav fish ever) A. paucisquamis, A. pertensis, A, menezi, and some unidentified, lovely blue apistogrammas that never made it home. There is hope though, by august I hope to have all of...
Is this a good idea or not? It would be for TFH and wouldn't be very long. My problem is that it hasn't been confirmed 100% as salpinction. So would any of you actually read an article about one? I am on the fence looking foward to opinions.
Wow I did not see this when i commented last... I dont know if I have had the true regani, ask Mike Wise. He Identified the ones I currently have as A. cf. regani.
Wow I didnt catch anything good at all. I dont know why the only thing I saw were a few tetras. Maybe I just fished the wrong stretch (our boat's engine broke of course)
Really sorry to Hijack the thread but Mike Wise's PM box is full. Just wondering what I could theoretically catch at Rio Urubu and if a lot of work has been done there.
I have A. (cf.) salpinction in my aquarium. here are the best pictures I have of it up till now. http://passionate4pikes.wordpress.com/2011/06/30/apistogramma-cf-salpinction/ Happy new year!
Going to Fortaleza tonight I don't excpect to be creek fishing ;( but I wanted to know if that area was more explored/known than the amazon region. I am bringing nets just in case though!
