Story is that my cultures until now always thrived...but lately I could see that they are now much weaker in development...?? I still use the same for the culture: oat meal , dry yeast everything not too liquid .

Interesting..I found this online http://www.enasco.com/page/xen_brittle seems to be a good source. I had luck with New Era diskus pellets...they are soft and slightly fast sinking.

Thank DBlauj...I think exactly thats the reason...got me a Carbon filter now and this evening we will see if it works...here in Lima the Chlorine level rises and falls , I guess because we have a very warm winter they put a little bit more in than usually :(

What you mean by that?? Different bottle and everything was ok?? I checked about the chlorine and its fairly low ,so now I am completely puzzled. I use marine salt and never had an issue ....but lately , it sucks!:confused:
