Um, it depends. They generally all have the same behaviors but each may or may not have a special attitude.
I would say yes. But it depends on what else you have in there.
Hello and welcome!
You probably had a sleeper male. Also known as a late male it just means that the fish doesn't show full coloration and sexual dimorphism until much later than usual.
We'd also like to see pictures of you fish! :)
Hello
You answer is none of those fish should be in a 5 gallon. It is too small. Id say a 20 gallon would be the minimum. Dwarf slao come from warmer waters then WWCMs with the exception or A. borelli. So if you upgraded to a 20 gal you could but a pair for A. borelli with them and they would be...
Yes. I also have a unusually colorful female that I got and I hope that all her female offspring will take after her.
Really? Cool. Do you sell on aquabid?
I will be coming to you for help when I start breeding.
Beautiful tank and fish!
You should be just fine. I know ive seen some breeders recommend to have Nannostomus marginatus with the apisto pair/fry as it makes the parent /s more protective while there being no major threat to the fry.
Thanks. Cool. Do you have any? hahaha
It's funny that for a fish the breeds so easily that they aren't more popular. My LFS has them but other than that they are a rare thing to get online. I want to make them more popular and easier to get. :)
