Can some one tell about shipping from US to Canda

I'd be interested to know that as well.

Just thought I'd post a reply and show a pic I took today of what I suspect will be a male. The finnage seems to be changing. :)

    Apistogramma agassizii "Tefe Bauana"?

To some people, a pair is two fish. It doesn't matter the sex of them. I hope you stated that you wanted a breeding pair (or at least a male and a female).

    Please advise!

Upping your water changes might help out. I find that you're doing what I'll call the bare minimum for a lightly stocked tank. I would try doing an extra water change now, and see if that helps get the appetite back. You might want to make your water changes at least bi-weekly. Another thing...

    Apistogramma Study Group

You could always print out the Apistogram if it went 'net'! That way you could still hold it.

Ok, the man that originally had these fish had an opportunity to come to the house today, and he told me that these may be Dehane and not Kienke as he was saying earlier. So, the verdict may be Dehane. What do you guys think?

Very nice pics of your taeniatus Ted. Heck, of the Pelvicachromis on that page! I guess now I need to find a male kienke. Any ideas? I will be going to ACA so it may be possible to get one there.

I FINALLY got ahold of the guy and he no longer has the fish. However, he knew he had three varieties but wasn't sure which one the other guy had anymore. So, my choices are the following. Bipindi Wouri Kienke He seems to think it's kienke but he can't recall, so hopefully we can figure...

    The Trouble With Males

Call the water company to be sure. They will give you test results if you ask nicely. I used to live in Windsor and the water tastes HORRIBLE! I can't imagine it's all that great for the fish.

Thank you Ted and Randall. I have the name of the guy that bred these and will contact him shortly to see what he says. Lisa

The dominant female is very plump. Her belly is quite pinkish. The pics were done later at night, so that may have darkened her up a bit.

The problem is I was only given the females. There was no male in the group. I'm working my way back to who had them originally. As far as I can see, none of the females have any spotting.

Need a better angle on the CRC pic. Could be the same fish.

Hi guys, Didn't want to waste the bandwidth here (and I already posted this elsewhere), so could someone follow the link and tell me what locale this female Pelvicachromis teaeniatus is? http://www.cichlidae.info/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1305

Just an FYI. Dicrossus must be on some petstore lists as my local petstore even has a large sexable pair in the store. There's a definite male in there as he's got the lyretail.

Just a small update. So far so good. They seem to be eating well and have acclimated to the tank. No deaths. *crossing fingers*

    Badis Info

Hopefully when I find my charger, I can get more pics, but that's the best pic I have right now. The pic that's there is representative of them all. Same size, same colours.

Cause there was a deal for 5, and the guy catching the fish was having a hard time catching them.
