Want female mouthbrooders
Chris,
In case the PMs are not getting through, I want/need some female Apisto barlowi. I got 2 "pairs" from you last year and they turned out to be all males. So I really need a few females.
Let me know.

pelvicachromis subocelatus Matadi
Dave,
Think you can get some Pelvicachromis suboccelatus Matadi? I'd like a couple of pairs. I think they are easier to get in Europe (tank bred fish).
Steve
Dave,
I'd be interested in an answer, too. I have a bunch of supposed Dicrossus sp. Tapajos. They don't look anything like maculatus. I've got several pairs but can't get them to spawn.

Janos,
Congrats. That is a big spawn. Mine typically only give me 20-25 eggs. I have had zero luck with egg tumblers with this species. I've tried several kinds and had 100% failure. My only success (I've raised about 25 fry) was to use those guppy 3-way breeders that have the...
I've spawned L. dorsigerus and curviceps so I thought thayeri would be just as easy and I was wrong. I never had any luck with them. They are much bigger then their more common cousins and maybe I had them in too small a tank (29G) but they never did anything and just faded away. They seemed...
I have a wild breeding group that is couple years old. They spawned for me last year. There are three females and at least 4 males (full grown) last time I counted. I'd part with all of them if you want, say $50 plus a few bucks for the box/heat pack. I live in KC.
Let me know.

I got some Biotoecus sp. "Rio Tapajos" from Aquaglaser a few weeks ago (and just got some fry from them). Does anyone know if this is just a type locale for Biotoecus opecularis? They don't look like the wild Biotoecus opecularis I've gotten before in the sense that they seem more elongated...
Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some Steatocranus irvinei if they ran about $20 each? They'd be wild caught adults and should be sexable.
Just post on here if you would be interested (and how many).
Steve
Hi,
I am in KC. I have Apisto iniridae and steindecherni growing out. Also working with A. gibbiceps. Also have some Biotoecus opecularis.
Shipping to Omaha is about $10 for overnight.
Let me know if you are interested.

How are all these plants and shrimps and snails sent from Germany and Singapore to the US (or vice versa)?
One guy in Norway said he got shipments from the USA via global priority USPS on a regular basis. Does Norway have different import requirements?
If I declare the fish here in the USA...
I should be able to get you guys 30+, maybe close to 50 fish.
Let me know the details and how you want this done. I've heard of shipping via USPS priority international which takes 4-5 days. With breather bags and good weather, should be doable.

Hi, about 5 months ago I managed to snag 30 Dicrossus sp. Tapajos (they were being sold as Discrossus maculatus). They had the "dash" type spotting from the start and now that they have grown out they are dead ringers for the pictures in the Cichlid Atlas. I have an abundance of males (and...
Hi, I have young Tilapia joka, about 1+ cm in TL for sale. Good size for shipping. Can't sex (hard to sex even as adults). Very cool and rare Westie.
$3.50/each or 6 for $18.
I will ship UPS or USPS and have medical grade styros. $2 for heat 60 hr heat pack and $3 for box/handling.
My zip...
Put me on the list
Janos,
Nice work with the Red Eyes. Put me on your list. I'd like to give them another shot. I got some from Toyin about the time you got yours and mine were doing well (had a nice big male) then they started to drop off one by one...

I just saw Pungu F1 for sale on Jeff Michaels site. I was not aware these had ever been spawned in captivity. Are you holding out on us, Jeff? Details, please. I have a group of 7 wild Pungu with some S. pindu and a very dominanting S. mariae pair. I was thinking about giving them there own...
