What species of pencil fish are these ?

They look like some sort of variant of trifs but with more red esp next to the middle black line.

Also so far they lack the aggression of trifs.

They look more like marginatus to me. They are not as slender as trifasciaia.

Yes i 'spoke' to someone on another forum who is far more knowledgeable these are likely a marginatus variant - he thinks they were previously known as 'picturatus' - i found this picture on a generman website:

Mine has a more full black bar on the bottom - but that might be mood thing not sure.
