I'll find a new home for the guy, and see what happens!
Oh well.. Next time I'll have to find a private quality breeder, and get some decent fish..
At least now I know what to look for..
Thanks for the response Mike!
Hi there,
Im am very much in doubt, about what to do..
As you can see on the attached image, i bought my first A. Cacatuoides about 4 months ago.
The guy at the petstore told me, when i ask im about the small/lack of pelvic fins, that they will slowly grow out again.
Nothing have happend...
Aaaand, they spawned again.. Just as the old batch of fry hit the age of 2 weeks (10 left)!
Thinking of removing the other fish in the tank, get some ditherfish and start hatching some brine shrimp!
Though i have room for an extra tank - would it be too risky to try the whole breeding thing...

Hi there,
The tank have changed quiet a bit, from what i originally had planned. (Pics attached) Its nothing special, but im very pleased with it, as it is now..
At the moment the tank is stocked with:
M/F A. cacatuoides
6 paracheirodon innesi
6 Rummy nose tetras
8 Corydoras Habrosus
2 Oto's...
Its just that I have very limited species to chose from.
A. Hongsloi
A. Viejita
A. Borelli
A. Cacatuoides
A. Agassizii
A. Baenschi (This is my preferred fish.)
Even though i would love to have the ability to chose right from these species, I do not have the knowledge to do so...
Hopefully...
