What plecos do you think would be best? I already am looking at ancistrus, but are carnivore plecos an option? I would think they would be better tankmates considering Apistos are also carnivores. Any input would be appreciated.

Are panduros, trifasciata, or bitaeniata a possibility? Also, which one of these would do best with a ph of 7.6 or so? I would prefer to not have to lower it by buying anything.

Alright, Thanks! I think my LFS is out of Apistos anyway... I just added some oak leaves so my normal tap ph of 7.6 should have dropped a good amount by that time.
