No... i don't know but I'd lean towards no.. same way ebr came about. Have you seen what they started with?? Basic acara seem a bit more "workable"

The first picture looked good, second they look extremely stressed and fins are clamped, may be a side effect from the photo shoot??

I mean.. they'd probably be better off with a mate at the very least. In an appropriate sized aquarium I can't see a group of 20 mixed sex being a bad deal. It's not like a solitary fish like a betta or gourami or anything. Theyre certainly not a schooling fish though.

I had them spawning in a ph of 6. Tds was below 50 and I used humic acid to stain the water. Moving the fry failed, the 2nd and 3rd spawn were left in the and disappeared a few days after I noticed free swimmers. Can't say it was viable for raising them but they definitely made it to free...
Do you have any links handy? I already have them, they seem to be doing well, color has changed drastically since placing them in my tank. Quite social, far more curious than apistos I've kept. More like a ram.
