Apisto Identification

Looking for help trying to ID my new Apistogramma. I picked them up at a fish swap labeled as A. borelli, but after getting them home and unbagged they dont seem to resemble borellii to me.
Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know what they are, try posting their picture on a general cichlid forum. My suspicion would be that they are African Rift Lake cichlids.

Ah yes ... such are the consequences of bad spelling and/or bad handwriting (and omitting the genus name) !
... or was it you, misreading the bag label ?

I have to agree with @tuna. A slight error in name can mean something entirely different. In this case, you have something far from being an apistogramma.

They're Lake Malawi Cichlids, not Apistos, let alone South American.
