Yellow apistogramma cacatouidies

As you can see I'm new to this thread, but by no means new to the auqarium hobby. I've been keeping fish since I was five and now it's ....years later (I'm not going to tell you, you'll know how old I am.. ) Lets just say it's over 20 years.
Anyways my question is :
I have aquired several different pairs of apistos, one of which I acquired 10 cacatouidies with yellow and black finnage. Very striking IMO but I've been calling them hifin yellows, has anyone had this strain before? Is it a "man made" variety? I've had these for a few months, they were very young when I got them and now one of the females has laid eggs. I'm getting them ready to separate out into their own tanks for breeding, but would like to know more about this strain and can't seem to find anything.
I would like to share everything I know about them as I've sold a pair to a friend and a trio to someone else. Currently I have 2 males and three females, with a fourth female give to me from the LFS. Should I split them into trios or keep the females in thier own tanks and let the males "visit" with rotation?
Anywhere I can find more info on this particular strain. I see red, double, triples and orange but no yellow. It is most definatly a solid deep yellow on the finnage only contrasting with the black.
Any help would be much appreaciated.

The fish u describe seems to look like triple of double red cacutoides. As some of the variants have yellow then red. It would help to post pics of the fish.

It is almost identical to the red, just has yellow, and absolutly no red or even orange in it.
I'm working on downloading pics from a borrowed camera.
I just figured it would be common by now as I'm always a little slow at getting "new" fish

They may be common gulexx, but its a little hard to picture well without a picture  . Were you able to get those pictures off the cam?

The fish in the photo a decent 3X or exceptional 2X Red A. cacatuoides (depending on the person's idea of what constitutes a 3X Red). It needs more carotein in its diet to bring out the red in the fins.
