hey just joined the forum kinda new to the cichlid hobby. I currently have a 40 gal tank with 3 german blue rams in it. I just started stocking it and should be adding some bolivan rams this week. thanks all cant wait to talk to some of you.

Welcome, but I hope you know you are in a precarious situation adding more cichlids of the same type in the same aquarium. May I suggest setting up a second tank for your bolivian rams, and adding dithers such as cardinal tetras (or something similar) to each?

I thought as long as they were around the same size everything would be good. The Bolivians are the same size as my blues. You don't agree with this?

I think what he's saying is that you're likely to have altercations between the fish if you house them together... :-/ It's not ideal for any of them
